General
How much does dog poop removal cost in Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, and Guelph?
Price depends on dog count, cleanup frequency, yard access, and how much buildup is there now. The fastest way to see the right number is to start a free quote.
Do I need to be home for service?
No. Most of our clients are not home when we come through. As long as we have yard access (gate code, unlocked side gate, etc.), we handle everything. You get a text when we are on the way and a notification when the job is done.
How does the first visit work?
The first visit is a full yard reset. We note your access details, gate instructions, pet info, and any trouble spots. After that, recurring service follows your route day automatically. You do not need to schedule each visit.
Is there a contract or signup fee?
We have no contracts or termination fees for residential service. Cancellations can be submitted in writing through email or the client portal at least 24 hours before the next service day.
What service frequency should I choose?
Weekly is the cleanest default for most yards. We also offer bi-weekly and once-a-month service where route availability allows.
What areas do you service?
We serve Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge & Guelph ON. Nearby communities can request a quote to confirm current coverage.
Can you handle gravel, turf, dirt, and rock yards?
We remove visible waste to the best of our ability. Tall grass, leaves, mulch, tanbark, rocks, low decks, and trampolines can affect how complete a cleanup can be.
Do you pick up the waste or just scoop it?
Waste take-away is available. If trash bins are inaccessible or cannot be located, we will take the waste and apply the current waste-removal rate.
What if I have a locked gate?
Share access instructions before service or make sure the gate is unlocked on your service day. We do gate checks and stay in clear communication with you around access.
Do you offer deodorizer or sanitizer treatment?
Yes. We offer a pet-safe sanitizing spray add-on that helps kill germs and knock down odors without harsh chemicals.
How do I know when service is complete?
We text before service and you can receive photos of secured gates upon request. We also keep gate photos for records.
What if you miss a spot or I am not happy with a visit?
Reach out quickly. Revisit requests must be made within 24 hours after the last service, and we will do our best to resolve concerns.
How do I pay?
Payments are prepaid monthly. We accept credit card and e-transfers. No long-term contracts required.
What if my dog is loose in the yard?
Dogs that are aggressive, anxious, territorial, or overly excited must be secured inside during service. We text before arrival so you can keep pets safe.
Do you service commercial properties or HOAs?
Yes. Contact us for property-specific commercial service availability and cancellation terms.
Is your crew insured and background checked?
Yes. Our crew is background-checked. We use marked trucks, uniforms, and maintain professional safety standards.
Service-specific questions
WeeklyDoes someone need to be home for weekly visits?
No. Most weekly clients are out when we come by. Given safe yard access — a gate code, unlocked side gate, or key — our team takes care of everything and sends an on-the-way text plus a completion notice.
WeeklyDoes the weekly route still run in bad weather?
Yes. Light rain and snow don't pause the route; our crews work through normal weather to keep yards consistent. Only severe storms or unsafe access push a visit, and we reach out to reschedule when that happens.
WeeklyHow frequently is my yard cleaned on the weekly plan?
Once every seven days on your assigned route day. It's the most popular cadence because it prevents buildup, keeps odor down, and leaves the yard ready for everyday use.
WeeklyWhere does the waste go after each weekly visit?
Everything we collect leaves with us for proper off-site disposal — it isn't left in your garbage bin or compost, so nothing lingers between cleanups.
WeeklyHow is weekly service billed?
Weekly plans are prepaid monthly by credit card or e-transfer, with no contract — you can adjust or cancel with 24 hours' notice.
Bi-weeklyCan I get every-other-week service where I live?
Bi-weekly coverage varies by area across Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, and Guelph. Request a quote and we'll confirm what's available for your address.
Bi-weeklyWhat sets the bi-weekly plan apart from weekly?
Bi-weekly visits land once every two weeks instead of every seven days — a good fit for single-dog or lighter-use yards that still want professional, off-site cleanup on a dependable rhythm.
Bi-weeklyIs every other week often enough to stay ahead of it?
For most one-dog and low-traffic yards, yes. Busier multi-dog yards usually do better on weekly. When you quote, we'll help match the cadence to your yard.
Bi-weeklyDo I have to be home for the every-other-week visit?
No — safe access through a side gate, code, or key is all we need to clean while you're out, and you'll get arrival and completion alerts.
Bi-weeklyCan I move between weekly and bi-weekly later?
Yes. Because there are no contracts, you can step up for busy seasons or ease back when things are quieter — just let us know and we'll adjust the route.
Bi-weeklyShould the yard be reset before bi-weekly begins?
If waste has piled up, we can start with a one-time reset and then maintain it on the bi-weekly schedule. We'll flag whether that's recommended during your quote.
One-timeCan I book a single cleanup with no commitment?
Yes — a one-time cleanup stands on its own with no recurring plan or contract. Book it whenever the yard needs a reset.
One-timeWhat drives the price of a one-off cleanup?
It depends on how much has accumulated and the yard's size and condition, since a neglected or post-winter yard takes longer. We confirm the figure before starting — a quote with your details gives the fastest estimate.
One-timeDo I need to be present for a one-time visit?
No. As long as the yard is safely accessible, we complete the reset while you're away and notify you on arrival and when it's finished.
One-timeWhere does the waste go after a one-time reset?
Everything we collect leaves with us for proper disposal — nothing is left behind in your garbage or compost.
One-timeIs this the right pick after the snow melts?
Definitely — spring is peak season for one-time resets. Once the thaw clears, a full sweep removes the winter's accumulation so the yard is usable again.
One-timeCan a one-time cleanup turn into regular service?
Yes, and it's common: the reset gets the yard clean and a weekly or bi-weekly plan keeps it that way. Just ask to be added to a route — no contract.
U-Fill BucketHow does the U-Fill bucket swap work?
You scoop into your assigned bucket through the week; on service day we swap in a fresh liner, sanitize the bucket if it needs it, and take the full bag away for disposal.
U-Fill BucketDo I have to be home on bucket-exchange day?
No — with safe yard access and the bucket in its usual spot, our technician handles the swap while you're out.
U-Fill BucketWhat if the bucket gets messy?
We sanitize buckets whenever needed, so a soiled bucket is cleaned or replaced with a fresh one.
DeodorizerIs the deodorizer a replacement for scooping?
No — it's the finishing step after cleanup. We remove the waste first, then treat high-use areas to neutralize the odor that's left behind.
DeodorizerIs the treatment safe around pets, kids, and grass?
Yes. The bio-enzyme formula is pet-friendly and made for residential yards, working on lawns, gravel, patios, and runs without harsh chemicals.
DeodorizerWhat makes the deodorizer work?
Scooping clears solids, but urine and residue soak into surfaces and keep producing odor. The enzymes break those compounds down at the source instead of masking them with scent.
DeodorizerHow often should the deodorizer be applied?
It depends on traffic and odor level — many clients add it through the warmer months or on heavy-use spots, and it pairs with any cleanup plan. We'll suggest a rhythm at quote time.
DeodorizerCan deodorizer be added to my current plan?
Yes — it's an add-on for any weekly, bi-weekly, or one-time visit. Include it at quote time or ask us to apply it on your next stop.
DeodorizerHow long does the fresher result last?
It varies with weather, surface, and dog traffic, but most people notice a clear drop in odor right after treatment, and repeat applications keep busy areas fresher over time.
CommercialDo you sell and maintain pet waste stations?
Yes — we supply, install, and maintain pet waste stations across the region, including restocking liners and keeping them emptied and clean on a set schedule.
CommercialWhich kinds of properties do you cover?
Condo and apartment complexes, HOAs, property managers, parks and dog parks, business campuses, retail plazas, and other shared dog-use areas — if a space is shared, we can build a plan for it.
CommercialWhat does a commercial service schedule look like?
It's tailored — from several times a week down to monthly — based on traffic, dog volume, and station count, and we adjust the cadence as the property's needs change.
CommercialHow do you price commercial accounts?
Each site is quoted on property size, station count, frequency, and waste volume after a brief review, with a clear itemized quote and no long lock-in to begin.
CommercialAre you insured for commercial work?
Yes — $2 million in commercial liability plus WSIB coverage, so managers and businesses can add us to their vendor list with confidence.
CommercialDo property managers get service documentation?
Yes — we keep managers in the loop with visit confirmations and notes, so you always know the grounds are handled on schedule.
