Terms of Service

Clear policies outlining billing, service standards, and client responsibilities for The Poop Valet.

The Poop Valet Terms of Service

1. Billing & Payment

Service pricing is based on location, yard size, number of pets, and service frequency.
All services are prepaid monthly.

Invoices are issued approximately five (5) days before the end of the month.

Payment is due on the first day of the service month.

Monthly rates are calculated by multiplying the weekly rate by 52 and dividing by 12.

New clients may receive a prorated first invoice.

A valid credit card on file is required. Cards are securely stored in our scheduling system and charged automatically on the first of each month. Prepaid e-transfer may be accepted by exception and must be paid in full before service begins.

 

2. Late & Non-Payment

Services may be suspended if payment is not received by the 5th of the month.

A $10 late fee applies after 10 days.

Accounts over 45 days past due may incur a $35 collection fee and be referred to collections.

A resumption fee may apply due to increased workload following suspension.

 

3. Service Schedule & Conditions

Services may be delayed or cancelled due to unsafe weather, including snow accumulation exceeding 4 cm within eight (8) hours of service or extreme cold. Missed services due to weather or staff illness are not credited, as workload increases at the next visit.

Holiday schedules may vary. The Poop Valet is closed from Christmas Day through New Year’s Day; regular fees still apply for the following service.

 

4. Yard Access & Safety

Clients must ensure safe, unobstructed access to the yard via a gate or garage. Access through the home is not permitted. Missed visits due to access issues may still be billed; the first occurrence may be waived.

Pets must be secured away from the service area during visits.

 

5. Scope of Service

We remove solid pet waste only.

Diarrhea or waste indicating health concerns will not be handled; clients will be notified.

Areas with limited visibility, dense vegetation, obstacles, or safety risks may be excluded.

Areas under trampolines or within rock/gravel surfaces may be excluded or subject to an additional fee.

 

6. Service Pauses & Termination

A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to pause service for future credit.

Services may be cancelled with 48 hours’ written notice.

Partial-month refunds are not provided.

 

7. SMS Communication

By providing your phone number, you consent to receive service-related SMS messages. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for assistance.

 

8. Liability

The Poop Valet is not responsible for property damage or loss related to normal service operations. Reasonable precautions are taken to secure gates and property after each visit.

 

9. Privacy

Client information is kept confidential and is not sold or shared. Please refer to our full Privacy Policy for details.

 

10. Changes to Terms

These Terms of Service may be updated at any time. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of any revisions.
