1. ABOUT THE SERVICE

The Poop Valet is a locally owned, family-run dog waste removal service serving Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, and Guelph. We professionally scoop and remove dog poop from residential yards and commercial properties on a weekly, bi-weekly, one-time, or bucket schedule — so you never have to deal with it yourself.

We serve Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, and Guelph, along with select surrounding communities. If you’re unsure whether your address is in our service area, just call or text us at 519-835-7667 and we’ll confirm right away.

Yes. The Poop Valet is fully insured for liability, and our technicians are covered by WSIB. You can have complete peace of mind knowing we operate professionally and safely on your property.

Not at all. As long as we have safe access to your yard, we can complete the service while you’re away. After every visit we send you a service notification, a photo of your latched gate, and a Poop Report so you always know the job is done.

2. SERVICES & SCHEDULING

What service plans do you offer? We offer weekly service, bi-weekly service, one-time cleanups, spring snow melt cleanups, bucket service, and a yard deodorization add-on. Most clients start with a one-time or spring cleanup and then move to weekly or bi-weekly recurring service.

Weekly service is best for homes with one or more active dogs. Bi-weekly works well for lighter-use yards or smaller dogs. One-time cleanups are great for move-ins, before parties, or after winter. If you’re unsure, just reach out — we’re happy to recommend the right fit based on your yard size and number of dogs.

The bucket service is a lower-cost option where you scoop your yard yourself into a provided bucket, then leave it at your front or side of your house on your scheduled exchange day. We swap it out for a clean one and haul the waste away. It also works great for cat litter.

Yes. We provide dog waste removal all year long, including through rain and light snow. In cases of extreme or unsafe weather conditions, we’ll notify you in advance and communicate any scheduling changes clearly.

We use a structured grid pattern — working north to south, then east to west — to make sure nothing gets missed. If you’re ever unsatisfied with a visit, we offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee and will return within 24 hours to re-clean your yard at no charge.

Yes. We don’t do contracts, so you can cancel or pause anytime without penalty. We believe the service should earn your loyalty every visit — not lock you in.

3. PRICING & PAYMENT

Pricing is based on the number of dogs you have and the frequency of service you choose. You can get an instant estimate using our pricing calculator on the homepage, or request a free quote and we’ll confirm everything before service begins.

Recurring services are billed monthly using secure credit card auto-payment. Your card is charged at the start of each month before service begins — no invoices to chase, no cheques, no hassle. We also take e-transfers on a case-by-case basis.

For yards with heavy buildup — especially first-time cleanups or post-winter yards — there may be an additional fee. We’ll always let you know upfront before any extra charge is applied.

4. HOW IT WORKS

Our technician arrives, grids your entire yard in a systematic pattern to locate all waste, removes everything, sanitizes their tools and boots before leaving your property, then sends you a service notification including a gate-latched photo and a Poop Report.

Yes, every time. All dog waste is removed from your property and hauled away off-site. We never leave it in your household garbage bins or compost.

Absolutely. Our tools and boots are cleaned and sanitized between every single property we visit. This prevents cross-contamination and is one of the key ways we keep our service safe and professional.

5. SPECIFIC SERVICES

As winter ends and snow melts, months of hidden dog waste resurfaces all at once. Our spring snow melt cleanup is a thorough one-time visit designed to clear all of that accumulated waste so your yard is safe and usable again for the season.

Our deodorization service applies a professional-grade bio-enzyme spray that neutralizes odour-causing bacteria on grass, concrete, mulch, and dirt. It does not include waste removal — it’s designed to be used after a cleanup. The products are pet-safe once dry, and the treatment works on all common yard surfaces.

Yes. We service HOAs, apartment complexes, office parks, dog parks, pet-friendly hotels, veterinary clinics, and doggy daycares. We build customized service plans, offer waste station installation and maintenance, and provide service reports after every visit.

6. TRUST & CREDIBILITY

We’re a locally owned, family-run business based right here in Hespeler — not a franchise or a side hustle. Dog waste removal is all we do, and we take it seriously. We have nearly 200 five-star Google reviews from real neighbours in Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, and Guelph. Every visit includes yard gridding, sanitized tools, off-site waste removal, gate photos, and a Poop Report. No contracts, 100% satisfaction guarantee, and a team that actually shows up.
